People choose coffee grinders based on features and price
Coffee grinders are essential
to preparing gourmet coffee and espresso at home. You can choose
the perfect coffee grinder by considering the features that you
need. Typically you will want to check out the brand and model-
its ease of use, durability and ease of cleaning.
If you have a good quality home espresso machine you will undoubtedly
want a good quality coffee grinder. While inexpensive coffee grinders
sell for $15, pricier brands can sell for $200. The difference in
price should reflect the fancier and premium features. For example,
is this coffee grinder able to grind course, for French roast and
fine, for espresso? Is it quiet, so that your household won't be
woken up by the loud grind? Can you place ½ pound coffee
to be ground at once? Is it messy and difficult to clean?
The one gripe I have with inexpensive coffee grinders is the noise.
I don't mind a little mess now and again but I don't like being
barked at by my coffee grinder at 6:30 in the morning, so I suppose
I need to go up market.
